This legacy project was built through Patronage from over 100 leading companies such as Majid Al Futtaim, Emirates, Dubai Duty Free, EmiratesNBD, Essa Saleh Al Gurg, Jumbo Group, Landmark Group, Chalhoub, Apparel; Dodsal, Petrochem, etc. Mr. Deepak Rego, as Director – Sponsorship of DUCTAC for 4 years, set up the sponsorship strategy and worked closely with the Board to raise funds to build the AED 40 Million Centre.
Completed in 2006, the Dubai Community Theatre and Arts Centre (DUCTAC) is the only built for purpose, non-profit organization in the United Arab Emirates. DUCTAC is a multi-venue arts platform with a continuing commitment to creative learning and community engagement.
Housing two theatres, an art gallery, three professional dance/rehearsal studios, a library, an arts material shop plus classrooms and meeting places, DUCTAC’s aim is to contribute to the creative development of the UAE as well as acting as an international destination that hosts a varied programme of art and theatre events.
